My "Shirtless Hall of Fame"

I just found this site, and thought I'd tell you about two of my shirtless "heroes." First: Greg, about twenty years ago, when he was twenty-two years old. Greg was cute, short, smooth, and muscular from his work as a roofer. Nothing unusual (at least twenty years ago!) about a roofer working without a shirt, but Greg carried his shirtlessness over into his everyday life, and whenever I saw him, he'd normally be wearing tight blue jeans, work boots, and no shirt. Didn't matter if it was day or night, he simply had no need for shirts! Even when the weather turned cool, Greg would go without a shirt for as long as possible, and then would very grudgingly wear a white T-shirt only. He seemed quite unselfconscious about his bare torso, and went just about everywhere with his fine young body exposed to view. He had no problem going into supermarkets, or into takeout-style restaurants, or most any other place he chose to visit. The thing I admired most about Greg was that he usually didn't even bother to carry a shirt with him at all. It was as if he'd simply disposed of this particular article of clothing entirely.
My second "shirtless hero" is the "shirtless busboy," whom I encountered only a few months ago in the restaurant where I normally eat breakfast. Marcos is a beautiful, brown-skinned young Filipino, and that much was obvious even when I first saw him, wearing jeans and a black T-shirt. Much to my surprise and delight, however, he quickly stripped to the waist inside the restaurant, and began doing a vigorous series of calisthenics in full view of everyone who happened to be in the restaurant at the time! When he had finished his exercises, he opened his backpack, and in a VERY leisurely manner, proceeded to fold up his T-shirt, put it in the backpack, and then, slowly, and after turning completely around several times, put on his uniform shirt. I found him to be personable and outgoing. He has recently become a waiter in the restaurant, and since he is now normally already at work when I arrive in the morning, I don't know if he still exercises shirtless before beginning his work. His body is well-built, and athletic, and appears to be the product of genuine athletic endeavor, rather than weight lifting. Hope you've enjoyed hearing about two young men who, probably without knowing it, have worked hard to advance the shirtfree movement!
