The election committee reports 600,00+ people had registered to vote, and of the that over 100,000 Hawaiian / Part-Hawaiian was part of this figures. Yet when you look at the numbers as to how many actually voted it was only 49% of the total registered voters. If the people who didn't vote did vote the ammenment to the constitution wouldn't have passed. We need to point that out to people and make them understand the importance of there vote. Think about it the Catholic & Mormon Church had their people voting. You could see that happen very clearly. I am a bi male and married and I beleive this is a inherited right that I have as a Hawaiian and traditional. Yet when you listen to the debate the argument by the Catholic Church is traditional. My questions is who's tradition.
