45 year old white male, from Wisconsin looking to relocate by year end. Hi Guys! Looking to make one of the biggest moves of my life. Thought I was all settled in for life, when ha!! nothing is for life! I own my own 3 story home and an adjacent business, bar restaurant and banquet hall. Currently have a good qualified buyer for my business. As for my home the upper pays the mortgage. You get to a point in life, sometimes you own so much it simply becomes baggage. Baggage in terms that you spend all of your time MAINTAINING all your possessions. Time to lighten up and take more time for myself and actually ENJOY life. Currently located in the country, and am a city boy at heart. Want to relocate to a warm climate, in an urban area. Perhaps California, San Diego or up to San Fransico. Don't know a soul out there, but have no problem making new friends anywhere or anytime. Not sure what my financial situation will be once the business is sold. Of course, I won't have employment until I arrive somewhere and begin the process. Having owned my own business for past 7 years, I'm pretty independent. I haven't got a lover and very little family, so I really have nothing to hold me here. Would like to start making some in roads to where I may potentially end up or make some acquaintances before I arrive. Any info on housing, pricing, and employment, especially out in the CA area would be greatly appreciated. I am 45, 5'11", br, bl, moustache, 165#. Have a good head on my shoulders, not a slob. I do have a dog, a German Shephard, that may pose some housing problems as well. I guess I am planning on him coming with me. This will be one of the most major moves I have made.
