The Town Clerk in Corinth, Susan Fortunati, is leading the opposition against the civil unions law recently passed in Vermont. She has been quoted as saying that she finds issuing civil unions to gays and lesbians "repugnant." I find her attitude repugnant and she should be made aware that our community does not appreciate her or her efforts and her attitude. She is a public servant who took an oath to uphold the laws of the state of Vermont. She is not in this case.
